Oxalis Chemicals Ltd. (Headquarters: Daiba, Tokyo; Chairman: Gen Uyeno) and Japan Chemtech Ltd. (Headquarters: Daiba, Tokyo; Chairman: Minoru Murata) will merge on April 1, 2019.

The Uyeno Group recognizes development of its chemicals business as a key part of its growth strategies and aims to further strengthen its competitiveness through this merger. Oxalis Chemicals seeks to combine strengths of both companies and promote synergies between its chemical products sales and marine and land transportation businesses of the Uyeno Group. The company also strives to expand its business in Japan and abroad, primarily in Asia, and aims to enhance collective strength as a chemical trading company.
