Established "Oxalis Shipping" in Singapore.

Yutaka Uyeno took office as chairman of the Yokohama Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Road transport division became independent as "Uyeno Yuso."

Yutaka Uyeno took office as chairman of All Japan Coastal Tanker Association.

Yutaka Uyeno received The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star.

Takashi Uyeno took office as president.
Head office moved to newly constructed Sumitomo Kaijo/Uyeno Joint Building.

No.1 Uyeno Building was completed; many divisions moved into new offices.
1991
Uyeno Marine Service participated in the Emergency Assistance Corps to Saudi Arabia for clean-up of oil after the Gulf War.

The nation's first 6,000KL coastal tanker, "Soubi Maru," joined fleet.
1998
Uyeno reorganized, formed "Uyeno Transtech" through the consolidation of Uyeno Unyu Shokai and Uyeno Chemical Unyu.
Established "Japan Oil Network," a joint venture with Showa Shell Sekiyu and Heiwa Kisen.
Established "Oxalis Hong Kong" to start transportation of aviation fuel to new international airport.
1999
"Yokohama Base," the nation's first large-scale service station exclusively for passenger cars, began offering services at its Yokohama Orbital Highway No.2 location.
2000
Uyeno Transtech acquired Heiwa Kisen to strengthen its business foundation.
2001
Uyeno Transtech appointed outside directors.
Takashi Uyeno took office as governor of Rotary International District 2590.
2002
Uyeno Transtech started operating the first coastal coal-ash carrier, "Hekinan Maru".
Relocation of the head office of Uyeno Transtech, and the offices of Uyeno Kosan K.K. and Uyeno Holdings, Ltd.
