Sunrise Oil Service Corporation is entrusted with the operation of lubricant plants of Shell Lubricants Japan Corporation, which succeeded the former Showa Shell Sekiyu Corporation's business of research, development, production, and sales of lubricant and other oil products.
We are also entrusted with the operation of oil terminals and asphalt depots of Idemitsu Kosan Corporation.

Environmental and Safety Initiatives

We will comply with the "New HSSE" and "Lifesaving Rules" of Shell Lubricants Japan Corporation and "Rules to Protect Lives" of Idemitsu Kosan Corporation to achieve completely accident-free operations.

Priority measures

1.Continue and promote the 5S campaign and close-calls at business sites and oil terminals
2.Promote application of Shell Global Rules on safety at both Yokohama and Kobe sites
3.Continued participation in safety meetings (site visits and web meetings) by directors and head office management
4.Continue to promote communication within and outside of departments by managers and leaders at each workplace and encourage thorough safety behavior.
5.Prevent occupational accidents by raising safety awareness through internal and external training, sharing accident case studies, and promoting hazard prediction activities.

Lublicants manufacturing and shipping operations, receiving orders for lubricats

We manufacture lubricats by operating our plants in accordance with international standards of Shell.

We are fully commissioned by Shell Lubricants Japan Corporation, a member of the Shell Group, to conduct lubricats manufacturing, testing and analysis, storage and shipping operations at our Yokohama and Kobe sites.
We also provide customer support services for customers nationwide, such as taking orders for lubricants and serving as the primary point of contact for end-users.

Oil terminal management and operation

We are committed to providing a stable supply of essential petroleum products.

The Idemitsu Kosan Group is entrusted with the overall management and operation of Idemitsu Kosan's oil depots, and manages and operates three of them: the Kushiro Nishiko Oil depot, Sadayama Shiogama Oil depot, and Takamatsu Asphalt depot.
We also manage and operate the oil depot functions at Shell Lubricants Japan Corporation's Yokohama and Kobe sites.

Customs clearance and delivery arrangement

We provide one-stop service from customs clearance to packing and delivery.

We are licensed by Yokohama Customs and have many customs brokers at Tokyo/Yokohama Ports and others to handle customs clearance, packing and delivery of petroleum products, petrochemical products, lubricants and other products for Shell Lubricants Japan Corporation and other shippers.
