Uyeno Logichem Ltd.  (President and COO：Gen Uyeno; Head office: Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa), which operates the Uyeno Group's chemical product shipping, land transport, warehousing and chemical product storage tank businesses,has announced that Uyeno Bertschi Logistics Solutions Limited (President: Daisuke Kiritani, Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will commence operations from 1 January 2024.

The new company was established (1st May 2023) jointly with Bertschi Global AG (Head office: Dürrenäsch Switzerland), which is developing a logistics business using ISO tank containers in the international market, with the aim of responding to the growing logistics market using ISO tank containers, an international standard container for which demand is increasing worldwide as a safe,secure, rapid and low-cost international transport method. through joint investment (Uyeno Logichem: 50%, Bertschi Global AG: 50%)

With the start of operations of the new company, Uyeno Logichem aims to realise the expansion and provision of services tailored to user needs, including Port-to-Port and Door-to-Door transport, with the aim of realising international integrated logistics based in Japan.

With the start of the new company's operations, the exclusive Japanese agency services of Bertschi Global AG, which were previously carried out by Uyeno Logichem's Logistics Division, will also be transferred to the new company.
